What scares you most in life?
- For me, it’s getting older and my body breaking down in pain and dis-ease because I didn’t take better care of myself. And I think about this quite often.
Is that yours too?
- When I look at the older people around me I rarely see vigor and good health. What I see unfortunately are aches, pains, pills and low energy. And this worries me. You know darling the goal for my life is to live life without health problems (to the best of my ability). So lately, I’ve been eating much better and incorporating organic foods into my eating regimen because darling, I want to live a life of great health, movement, one that’s pain-free, joyous and with lots of energy and,I know you want that too.
So I'm choosing foods that are organic because eating organic is more nutritious to the body than eating commercially grown food.
- And here’s something else you probably don’t know:
There are at least 87 percent more minerals in organic food versus commercially grown food. And this all has to do with the soil and the pesticides used. Honestly, our bodies need magnesium, iron, calcium and other minerals to support us in our overall health and everyday living.
And when we eat foods that are non-organic we stand a higher chance of eating pesticides that negatively affect our cells, nervous system and so on.
These pesticides sprayed on plants are also found in the soil versus organic foods grown in healthy soil.
I’m sharing this today because I know I’m not the only one thinking about our eating habits and how it may affect us as we grow older. I’m in my 40s and I can feel the changes in my body. So I wrote this post because I want you to know how important it is for us to eat organic foods.
I hope this inspires you to choose organic - because darling, we’re going to be living our best lives all the way into our golden years. What we do today, impacts our tomorrow.
