3 Moringa Benefits For Skin

Moringa grew around me. It's the type of thing that happens when you live on an island - various plants growing around you without your knowledge.  

I've fallen in love with this nutritive plant. 


Here are my 3 skin benefits when using Moringa.

  • Applying an Organic Moringa Oil can act as an astringent.  When I've applied it to areas that are severely dehydrated I have also noticed an astringent yet moisturizing effect. I do mix it with another oil, one that's a bit thicker and moisturizing, for e.g. Organic Almond Oil. Moringa seed oil is absolutely the oil to use for protecting the skin from fungus, bacteria and any other inflammation. Think eczema, broken skin, acne, etc


  • Searching for something that can even your skin tone?  Moringa oil is able to treat skin with antioxidants, like vitamin c to even out dark spots. Use as a night and day moisturizer. An SPF of 35 - 50 is crucial here, to prevent further skin darkening. 


  • Looking for a simple makeup remover? Apply onto skin and massage for 60 seconds. Remove with a warm washcloth, repeat then apply a moisturizer or a few drops of the moringa seed oil.  No need to use cloths that contain unnecessary synthetics and irritants.



Where you can find Moringa and its parts

The Caribbean, Africa, Asia and climates that are tropical, subtropical or even drought tolerant climates. You can also find the Moringa plant in the United States, in places like Florida, Hawaii, and California to name a few.  



Dried leaf as an additive to foods to increase nutritional value, or as a tea or juice.

The seed is used for producing oil.
